ABOUT THE ROLE

In the capacity of Export Manager, you will spearhead the international growth of our Sales division. This entails identifying and nurturing new business opportunities across Europe, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East through strategic partnerships and distributors, while also enhancing sell-through rates. A background in on-trade and launching brands in new markets is crucial. You will report to our Commercial Director for EMEA and will play a pivotal role in ensuring Minor Figures becomes a staple in specialty coffee shops and homes alike.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This newly established position is expected to evolve, and you will adapt to the changing priorities as needed. Below is an overview of your anticipated responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the international sales strategy and targets in collaboration with the General Manager for EMEA.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key international distribution partners to drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in emerging markets.
  • Meet established sales targets while ensuring gross profit margins are achieved.
  • Manage volume forecasting and inventory to guarantee supply continuity.
  • Analyze monthly account performance against sales objectives and derive insights.
  • Represent Minor Figures at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events, enhancing customer engagement through brand initiatives.
  • Oversee product management in-store, including placement, pricing, and promotional activities.
  • Recognize market trends and opportunities to inform future sales strategies.
  • Manage team members to ensure alignment with sales targets and overall strategy.
YOUR TEAM

Joining our Sales team means becoming part of a passionate group dedicated to excellence and a shared love for quality coffee. You will collaborate with a talented sales force across retail and Out of Home channels, with an expanding international team.

Reporting to the General Manager for EMEA, you will work closely with various departments, including Production, Products, Operations, and Marketing, to achieve our collective goals.

  • Experience in establishing a brand in new markets and achieving strategic sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT

Your primary base will be our office in East London, with flexibility to work from home as needed. Regular hours will typically be from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some variation based on workload and travel requirements.
