Corporate Events Assistant

Pertemps TM is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Events & Protocol Assistant to join their Corporate Services division. The ideal candidate will have experience working in events in an international environment and an understanding of multilateral affairs.
Key Responsibilities:- Logistical Support: Assist with all logistical, operational, and planning arrangements for Ministerial Meetings, high-level events, and virtual meetings.
- Travel Coordination: Arrange and coordinate travel for staff teams and resource persons, negotiating and liaising with external travel agents and suppliers.
- Event Management: Manage the appropriate protocols for Heads of Government and Ministerial Meetings, work with the Events and Protocol Manager to manage registration of delegations, and prepare delegate lists.
- Communication: Assist with internal briefings on all logistical and operational aspects of a given meeting, negotiate and liaise with external travel agents and suppliers, and liaise with all internal sections to facilitate meetings.
- Financial Management: Prepare financial acquittals for payments.
- Education: An undergraduate degree in International Relations, Development Studies, or a relevant field.
- Experience: Experience working in events in an international environment, an understanding of multilateral affairs, and/or experience working in an international conference environment.
- Skills: Strong communication and relationship management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work and adapt under pressure.
- Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency with Microsoft office applications and experience of using virtual events platforms such as Zoom.
The role is hybrid and will involve working at Pertemps TM's central London offices 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work on own initiative and make decisions in challenging circumstances.
