Children In Care Service

Empowering Young Lives

Join our dedicated Children in Care team, where you will be instrumental in enhancing the service. This role is focused on the North region of the county.


Committed to transforming the lives of looked-after children and care-experienced young individuals, we have recently received an Outstanding rating from Ofsted, with commendable feedback regarding our service.


As a Team Leader, you will be essential in providing direction, utilizing data and audits to ensure quality performance, fostering strong partnerships that contribute to our success, and prioritizing the needs of vulnerable young people in all your actions.


We offer a local initiative for care leavers and The Leaving Care Forum, which complements the Children in Care service, as we aim to improve inclusion and participation for all our looked-after and care-experienced young individuals.


In addition to substantial experience in a comparable position, a leadership role, and a social work qualification, you will need a comprehensive understanding of social work with children and families, along with a creative and passionate approach towards supporting children.
