Riverview Recruitment Ltd is pleased to announce an opportunity for a Healthcare Project Coordinator to join a dynamic Service Transformation Team. This role is focused on enhancing the operational efficiency of diagnostic services within the healthcare sector.


POSITION OVERVIEW:
The primary objective of this project is to boost the number of referrals to community diagnostic facilities from primary care providers.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Formulate a strategic approach to identify and secure diagnostic referral contracts in the local healthcare landscape.
2. Ensure that primary care providers are fully informed about the comprehensive range of diagnostic services available.
3. Oversee and maintain an up-to-date database of primary care practitioners and providers.
4. Explore opportunities for the development of new services or partnerships with primary care entities.
5. Strategically target areas and referrers identified as having high potential for growth, while tracking progress and outcomes.
6. Design and implement a marketing communications strategy aimed at primary care practitioners.
7. Cultivate relationships and promote the diagnostic facility among GPs, practice managers, and medical secretaries.
8. Maintain collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure a positive experience for GPs, practice managers, and patients, addressing any concerns promptly.
9. Monitor and report on key performance metrics on a monthly basis.


The successful candidate will be expected to work autonomously, taking the lead in all aspects of their responsibilities.


Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated professional development focused on commercial skills or significant experience in business development.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate, influence, and motivate effectively.
  • Experience in project management (PRINCE2 certification is a plus).
  • Familiarity with working alongside GPs and other healthcare referrers.
  • Proven track record of achieving challenging healthcare or business objectives.
  • Solid understanding of diagnostic testing processes.
  • Experience in supporting the implementation and management of strategies and policies within complex organizations.
  • Proven problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage change effectively.
  • Experience in analyzing data to develop engagement strategies.
  • Background in delivering high-quality customer service.
