Prospectus is delighted to be working with War on Want, a leading human rights organization, to find a highly skilled Senior Income and Engagement Officer to join their team.
War on Want is a pioneering organization that campaigns in the UK to challenge human rights abusing corporations and governments, and holds those responsible for inequality and poverty to account. They publish in-depth research exposing injustice and human rights abuse globally, working in partnership with grassroots groups, trade unions, and workers' organizations in the Global South.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to join War on Want's team and contribute to their mission. As a Senior Income and Engagement Officer, you will work closely with the Director of Income & Engagement to develop and implement strategies that deepen the relationship between War on Want and its individual supporters, increasing participation in their campaigns and growing unrestricted income.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement campaigns to acquire, retain, and develop individual supporters using a range of channels, both on and offline.
- Lead War on Want's legacy programme and manage the Income & Engagement Assistant to ensure the delivery of first-class supporter care processes and an unbeatable supporter experience.
- Join the team at a very exciting time, with a new supporter mobilisation strategy recently launched to bring transformative growth to the supporter base.
- Work across a range of channels, including tele-marketing, direct mail, and digital, to drive growth and engagement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for political change and activism.
- Experience working across a range of channels, including tele-marketing, direct mail, and digital.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
War on Want offers a competitive salary of £46,636 and a hybrid working arrangement, with one day a month at the organization's head office. More in-person days are required on an ad-hoc basis.
