About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team at Elysium Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the rehabilitation of adults with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the clinical team in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to promote recovery and rehabilitation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • MRCPsych or equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
  • Section 12(2) approval to work in England and Approved clinician status.
  • Experience in General Adult or rehabilitation settings and a proven track record of working in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience of working within acute inpatient or community settings, ideally inpatient settings, and experience in risk assessment and risk management.
