About the Role

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in a rehabilitation recovery service based in the UK. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, developing care plans, and providing guidance on evidence-based treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Management: Manage complex cases, including care plan development and treatment formulation.
  • Clinical Governance: Contribute to clinical governance, setting and monitoring standards, and participating in clinical audit and quality improvement activities.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate leadership ability, innovative thinking, and the ability to affect change professionally and organizationally.
  • Collaboration: Liaise and collaborate with care co-ordinators, commissioners, families, and carers, as well as other services and agencies.
  • Administrative Duties: Ensure all National Health Service (NHS) contractual obligations are met, and maintain professional registration with the General Medical Council.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Leadership Experience: Have previous consultant experience and experience in a management role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have knowledge of current developments in psychiatry, change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary cases in mental and physical health.
