This position plays a vital role in supporting the global HR strategy for Group Functions, offering a chance to engage in diverse HR areas and foster business partnerships throughout all Group Central Functions.

Reporting directly to the Senior HR Business Partner for Group Functions (Commercial), this role will also assist the HR Director of Central Functions with HR-related activities.

The ideal candidate will be dedicated to achieving excellence and eager to cultivate a long-term career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities

HR Support

  • Deliver operational and administrative assistance to HR Business Partners throughout all employee lifecycle HR processes, including recruitment, offers, recognition programs, pay reviews, performance evaluations, and exit interviews.
  • Aid in the preparation of presentations and materials for meetings, ensuring consistency across all Group Functions.
  • Provide timely information to the HR Centre, which manages payroll and benefits administration for employees based in the UK/Ireland, and offer support as needed.
  • Assist with the administration of international employee transfers.
  • Serve as the primary contact for HR inquiries.

Delivering HR Excellence

  • Maintain and manage data integrity, crucial for our annual cycle activities, and resolve data issues through collaboration with the HR Centre.
  • Conduct HR data reporting and analysis to meet routine organizational requirements and key HR metrics.
  • Coordinate contractor extensions in the UK, notifying line managers and HR Business Partners well in advance of contract expirations.
  • Manage online resources for Group HR teams on SharePoint or the most suitable platform.
  • Represent Group Central Functions in user acceptance testing for new system capabilities and rollouts.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to HR processes, operations, and administration.
  • Act as an HR systems expert, providing guidance to line managers on available resources.
  • Create offline organizational charts as needed.
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset, seeking and proposing solutions to enhance processes.

Recruitment

  • Assist hiring managers in completing requisitions for vacant positions, ensuring accurate position and compensation information is submitted to the Talent Acquisition team.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure every interview is supported with an Interview Plan utilizing the Interview Builder with appropriate questions.
  • Partner with hiring managers during first-stage interviews as requested by HR Business Partners, ensuring constructive feedback is provided to candidates.
  • Support HR Business Partners and Expertise teams in promoting graduate and placement schemes across Nomad.

Induction & Onboarding

  • Educate line managers and new hires on the induction process.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure all new employees have comprehensive induction plans.
  • Advise line managers on suitable content for induction plans and ensure new starters complete all onboarding activities.
  • Monitor new starter attendance at onboarding initiatives, gather feedback, and recommend improvements.

Culture

  • Actively engage in the ongoing cultural journey, embodying our company values daily.
  • Support the coordination of the quarterly Nomad Foods People Awards across Shared Finance.
  • Prepare, analyze, and report on the Employee Opinion Survey, proactively participating in the development of action plans.

Performance Management

  • Assist employees and managers in conducting effective mid-year and end-of-year performance development conversations.
  • Support line managers with performance development plan completion using Success Factors.
  • Track and monitor completion rates, providing regular updates to HR Business Partners.
  • Analyze development plans and report key themes to identify opportunities for enhancing performance cycle activities.

Reward

  • Assist in coordinating the annual review and any related data integrity tasks.

Learning & Development

  • Coordinate participation from Group Central Functions in Nomad-wide learning and development programs.
  • Manage the nomination and communication process for global initiatives such as Management, Leadership, and SHINE for women programs.
  • Co-facilitate in-house HR-led training programs.

Talent Management

  • Coordinate the annual cycle for Group Functions and assist HR Business Partners with pre-work and facilitation as needed.

Employee Relations

  • Collaborate with line managers on employee relations casework, providing advice and guidance.
  • Serve as a note-taker in employee relations meetings as required.
  • Track employee relations casework globally for Group Functions.
  • Act as the first point of contact for all employee relations inquiries.
  • Create all necessary employee relations documentation.

Graduates

  • Assist in managing the Nomad Foods Tech & Finance graduate programs, including recruitment and assessment center days.
  • Support the onboarding of the graduate cohort.
  • Help organize graduate rotations, collaborating with function sponsors.
  • Assist in coordinating the mid-year performance development plan review and calibration process.

HR Projects

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to create and implement key HR projects across business areas.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Degree qualified.
  • CIPD qualified.
  • Familiarity with SuccessFactors.
  • Experience with iCIMS ATS.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex.
