GSL Education is actively seeking Educational Support Assistants to provide coverage in local Primary Schools. In this role, you will assist teachers by offering support and care to students who may require additional help.

Additionally, you may work one-on-one with students with special educational needs or those exhibiting challenging behaviors. If you possess experience in a care environment, we would be eager to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with educators to facilitate lesson delivery and engage in classroom activities.
  • Provide individualized or small group support to students, adhering to teacher instructions.
  • Assist in preparing educational materials and resources.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
  • Build strong relationships with students, supporting their social and emotional growth.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a similar capacity is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for education and a commitment to student welfare.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational setting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educators and support staff.

  • Have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Possess an updated CV with two relevant references from the past two years.
  • Have a DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
