Position Overview:

We are currently in search of dedicated Learning Support Assistants for a Primary educational institution. The primary duties will include assisting in whole class instruction, delivering individualized support, and facilitating small group activities.

Additionally, you will engage in various aspects of school life, including overseeing break times, supervising diverse activities, and aiding class instructors with lesson preparation and assessment tasks.

The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic about working with children across the Primary age spectrum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working hours: 08:30-15:30
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Term time engagement only
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate patience, proactivity, and resilience; while the role can be demanding, it is equally fulfilling
  • Prior experience with children is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential (A-C Grade) GCSE English and Maths or equivalent qualifications

All remuneration rates mentioned include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This position is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role in the future.
