We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Practitioner to join our team in the Plaster Room, within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of trauma and orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in the Plaster Room, applying and removing plaster casts and splints, and providing wound care services.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Develop and maintain skills to undertake cast and splint application and removal.
  • Provide efficient, holistic, and high-standard care to patients.
  • Work in accordance with Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • British Orthopaedic Association Registration.
  • British Casting Certification.
  • NVQ Level 3 qualification or foundation degree in healthcare or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Specialist Post-Certificate Casting qualifications.
  • Experience of working as an orthopaedic practitioner in a plaster room within a hospital setting.
  • Previous experience with dealing with members of the public or voluntary group activities.
