About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Orthopaedic Practitioner to join our team in the Plaster Room, within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for patients with a range of trauma and orthopaedic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in the Plaster Room, within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department, caring for patients with a range of trauma and orthopaedic conditions.
  • Develop and maintain skills to undertake the application and removal of plaster casts and splints.
  • Work in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team to provide efficient, holistic, and high-standard care.

Requirements

  • Possess British Orthopaedic Association Registration.
  • Hold British Casting Certification.
  • Have a NVQ Level 3 qualification or foundation degree in healthcare or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Have evidence of Continuous Professional Development.
  • Specialist Post-Certificate Casting qualifications.
