Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopaedic Practitioner to cover a 10-month maternity leave. The successful candidate will be required to hold the British Casting Certificate (BCC) and maintain registration with the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA).

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop and maintain skills in the application and removal of plaster casts and splints. Working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide efficient, holistic, and high-quality care to patients with a range of trauma and orthopaedic conditions.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Work in the Plaster Room within the Orthopaedic Outpatient Department
  2. Care for patients with trauma and orthopaedic conditions
  3. Develop and maintain skills in plaster cast and splint application/removal
  4. Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team
  5. Provide high-quality, efficient care
