Job Summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join our team. As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide clinical pharmacy services across the hospital, including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient, and specialist services such as homecare and virtual wards.

Our team provides services to various specialties, including Cardiology, Respiratory, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Medical Admissions, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Surgical Admissions, General Surgery, Women and Children, Palliative care, Parenteral Nutrition, Virtual Ward, Homecare, and Antimicrobial Stewardship.

We are also seeking exceptional individuals to support Education and Development, Medicines Information, Aseptic and Cancer Services, and Governance and Formulary.

About the Role

As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing clinical pharmacy services, including:

  • Providing clinical pharmacy services across the hospital
  • Working with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care
  • Developing and implementing medicines optimisation strategies
  • Providing education and training to healthcare professionals
  • Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines and policies

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Pharmacy and pre-registration training
  • A Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible approach to work and the ability to prioritise workload
