Clinical Pharmacist Specialist Part-time

We are seeking a highly motivated pharmacist to join our friendly and forward-thinking team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will have the opportunity to gain broad clinical experience and develop medicines optimisation skills.
The successful candidate will provide clinical pharmacy services across The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient, and specialist services such as homecare and virtual wards. Our team of on-site and remote pharmacists provide services to various specialties, including cardiology, respiratory, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more.
As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you will be responsible for providing highly specialist expertise in the actions and use of medicines in clinical situations. You will also be expected to communicate complex information on the action and use of medicines at all levels within and outside the department.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Master's degree in Pharmacy, postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification, and previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist. You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively alone and as part of the wider team.
We offer a comprehensive range of specialist, acute, obstetrics, and community-based services to around 331,000 people across west and north Norfolk, North Cambs, and South Lincs. Our new electronic patient record (EPR) will replace paper-based patient records from 2026 and will lead to better, safer, joined-up care at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital and beyond.

- Provide clinical pharmacy services across The Queen Elizabeth Hospital
- Communicate complex information on the action and use of medicines
- Supervise and mentor junior colleagues
- Develop medicines optimisation skills
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Pharmacy
- Postgraduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
