About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHSFT. As an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a key role in providing clinical pharmacy services across our hospital, including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient, and specialist services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services across the hospital, including dispensary, outpatient, inpatient, and specialist services.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement medicines optimisation strategies to improve patient safety and reduce medication errors.
  • Supervise and mentor junior colleagues to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Pharmacy plus pre-registration training resulting in registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacist.
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy qualification or proven level of equivalent experience.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience as a Clinical Pharmacist (minimum of four years post qualification including a minimum of 12 months post qualification experience in relevant specialist area).
  • Previous experience of supervising/mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Able to communicate highly complex information on the action and use of medicines at all levels within and outside the department.
