Lead Broker/Director - Professional Indemnity - Join Our Team

Aon is thrilled to announce an opportunity for a Lead Broker to become part of our Professional Services Team, which operates within our Global Broking Centre. This position is ideal for a seasoned broker aiming to transition into a Director-level role, taking on greater client engagement and intricate placement responsibilities. The role entails orchestrating and contributing to the marketing and negotiation of Professional Indemnity business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a daily basis, adhering to our Marketing Strategy. This is a Hybrid position, allowing for both office and remote work.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Evaluate submissions
  • Lead quote broking and follow market broking
  • Present terms to clients and networks
  • Conduct Firm Order broking (PPL/email)
  • Document broking activities in market sheets
  • Review draft and final MRC
  • Send cover confirmations to clients and networks
  • Offer benchmarking and placement advice to clients
  • Conduct client meetings
  • Address A/C inquiries
  • Establish and manage a pipeline

Qualifications for Success
  • Approximately 10 years of market broking experience in the Professional Indemnity sector
  • Strong understanding of London insurance market dynamics and core processes
  • Proficient in utilizing insurance industry IT systems to enhance client service
  • Experience in cultivating effective client relationships
  • Expertise in structuring complex placement programs for optimal client outcomes
  • Solid grasp of compliance and FCA regulations
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
