Senior Broker - US Property, London, Hybrid Working

Aon Corporation is seeking a Senior Broker to enhance our US Property division within the Global Broking Centre.

Your primary responsibilities will include orchestrating and participating in the marketing and negotiation of business across the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a daily basis.

This position offers a Hybrid working arrangement, allowing for a blend of office and remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate submissions
  • Lead the quoting process and engage in market broking within the Lloyd's and European property sectors
  • Present terms to clients and networks
  • Conduct Firm Order broking (PPL / wet stamps / email)
  • Review draft and final MRCs for binding
  • Issue cover confirmations to clients and networks
  • Provide benchmarking and placement guidance to clients
  • Facilitate client meetings
  • Travel within the network as client needs arise, including participation in relevant symposiums

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in the insurance sector, either as a Broker or Insurer, with established connections
  • In-depth technical knowledge of US Property markets
  • Proficiency in utilizing insurance industry IT systems to deliver effective client service
  • Experience in managing client relationships and a portfolio of business
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
