Lead Broker/Director - Professional Indemnity - Join Our Team

Aon is excited to announce an opportunity for a Lead Broker to become part of our Professional Services Team, situated within our Global Broking Centre. This position is ideal for a seasoned broker eager to transition into a Director-level role, taking on greater client engagement and intricate placement responsibilities. The role encompasses the coordination and contribution to the marketing and negotiation of Professional Indemnity business within the Lloyd's and Company Markets on a daily basis, aligned with our Marketing Strategy. This position offers a Hybrid work model, combining both office and remote work.

Daily Responsibilities
  • Assess submissions
  • Lead quote broking and follow market broking
  • Present terms to clients and networks
  • Conduct Firm Order broking (PPL/email)
  • Document broking activities in market sheets
  • Review draft and final MRC
  • Send cover confirmations to clients and networks
  • Provide benchmarking and placement guidance to clients
  • Conduct client meetings
  • Address A/C inquiries
  • Establish and manage a pipeline

Qualifications for Success
  • Approximately 10 years of market broking experience in the Professional Indemnity sector
  • Strong understanding of the dynamics and core processes of the London insurance market
  • Proficient in utilizing insurance industry IT systems to enhance client service
  • Experience in managing productive client relationships
  • Ability to structure complex placement programs for optimal client results
  • Solid grasp of compliance and FCA regulations
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
