Role Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Lead Service Broker is to oversee the procurement of services for individuals with specific social care requirements. This role demands a deep understanding of client demographics, operational systems, care markets, and negotiation techniques to ensure that suitable and cost-effective care solutions are secured. Additionally, this position involves mentoring and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate timely referrals for hospital discharges, adhering to the NHSE guidelines.
  • Respond promptly to community service requests to identify and secure appropriate care settings for residents.
  • Provide leadership and support to junior staff members.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Availability for immediate engagement or at short notice.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.K.
