Morrison Energy Services Transmission Networks (MES TN) is actively seeking to appoint a Project Manager to oversee various contracts throughout the UK.

In this role, you will be an integral part of our Operational Team, dedicated to the effective execution of Overhead Line Projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and Quality Plans for all operational sites, contributing to the formulation of necessary Policies & Procedures.
  • Ensure timely communication of programming and change notifications to support internal departments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Operations and Head of Portfolio to coordinate and allocate suitable resource levels across projects.
  • Capture contract modifications and compensation events, ensuring that cost and schedule impact evaluations are conducted with the Commercial team.
  • Utilize project control methodologies to enhance project efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure accurate and compliant submissions of time bookings, out allowances, and expenses.
  • Prepare comprehensive project close-out reports.
  • Participate in MES TN and Client contract review and progress meetings.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to members of the project-specific management team.
  • Exhibit leadership to the project-specific management team.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of the construction elements related to the UK electrical transmission and distribution infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Willingness to travel and work from various sites across the UK.
  • Possession of a full clean driving license.
  • Desirable: Operational experience in Overhead Line construction and refurbishment projects.
  • Desirable: Project Management qualifications and/or a Degree/Higher Education.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate.
