Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer

About the Company: Project Start Recruitment Solutions is a leading provider of recruitment solutions for the facilities management and building services industry.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team. As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out refrigeration, reactive, and proactive works in line with the client's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Diagnose and fix equipment breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • System Operation: Utilize client systems to monitor and control refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning, and building controls.
  • Service Calls: Respond to calls as allocated by Service Control, providing prompt and efficient service to clients.
  • Record Keeping: Update service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reporting: Update client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way, ensuring seamless communication.
  • Health and Safety: Work safely in line with health and safety procedures, prioritizing the well-being of yourself and others.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Possess a 'F-GAS 2079 Refrigerant Handling' qualification and experience with working on refrigeration and alarm systems, air conditioning, and building controls.
  • Skills: Have experience with food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical, and fabric repairs. Basic HVAC experience is desirable.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrate an excellent attitude and approach to work, being highly self-reliant, motivated, and enthusiastic. Possess excellent customer care and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hydrocarbon Experience: Possess experience with hydrocarbon systems.
