Job Overview

EMR | Specialist in Marketing Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Events Manager to join our client, a leading global pharmaceutical and luxury skincare company, on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Brand & Strategy Creative Director and be responsible for planning and executing the company's events strategy. This will involve researching and securing venues, managing the global events calendar, and delivering on event marketing plans.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced events professional to shape the company's in-person presence and contribute to the growth of their luxury brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the annual calendar of global in-house events, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
  • Plan and manage events from start to finish, taking into account event requirements, target audience, business objectives, and budget.
  • Track payment of invoices and shipping of promotional materials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely payments.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to secure a detailed understanding of event requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Create briefing documents for suppliers, outlining event specifications and expectations.
  • Develop creative decks for internal stakeholder review and sign-off, showcasing event concepts and ideas.
  • Coordinate venue selection, site visits, contract negotiation, and contract management, ensuring seamless event execution.
  • Oversee event promotion coordination, including event marketing and communications, to ensure maximum visibility and engagement.
  • Manage talent liaison and contract management, ensuring smooth relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Extensive senior-level experience in Events Management, with a proven track record of delivering successful events.
  • Creatively minded and excited to bring innovative ideas to the business, with a passion for event planning and execution.
  • Ability to travel globally, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Confident in building and presenting decks, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercially minded, with a strong understanding of event budgets and financial management.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to operate efficiently and precisely in managing tasks and budget tracking.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of up to £70,000 per annum, dependent on experience, and a generous hybrid working model of 2 days a week office attendance and the remainder working remotely.
