EMR, a specialist in marketing recruitment, is delighted to be working with a leading global pharmaceutical and luxury skincare company to support their search for a Brand Manager. This is a fixed-term contract position for a 12-month duration.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Branding Strategy & Creative and will be responsible for leading customer segmentation, brand positioning, and brand marketing efforts, as well as carrying out various engagement projects globally.
The company operates a hybrid working model, with two days of office attendance and the remainder working remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to join an organization that positively impacts and improves lives and healthcare, during an exciting time of growth and with a healthy pipeline of new products to be launched in the future.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute brand strategies to drive brand awareness, equity, and growth across owned, paid, and earned channels.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with brand strategies across product development, marketing, and events.
- Conduct reviews of existing customer segmentation work and redefine if the needs of the business change.
- Lead on all media planning and buying globally, utilizing existing relationships with media owners and negotiating rates.
- Review existing brand partnerships strategy, select, develop, and drive brand partnership initiatives forward for the business globally.
- Develop and deliver brand-specific marketing strategies and campaigns for the company's brand.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of brand marketing initiatives using data-driven insights to inform and drive future decision-making.
- Liaise with scientific and technical teams to establish and distill concepts for briefing the creative teams.
- Lead on messaging and communications for advertising campaigns and press releases in close liaison with the VP of Communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners, such as event suppliers, brand partners, and media owners.
- Proven expertise and experience developing core marketing activities over time, ideally working with complex concepts in an international environment.
- Experience leading marketing teams, including developing people, infrastructure, and tools necessary for long-term success.
- A strong understanding of online retail/e-commerce and targeted advertising across digital platforms, including the use of metrics and analytics tools.
- A demonstrated hands-on approach to marketing, leading campaigns from the front and actively contributing work alongside strategy.
- Natural and honed creative talent, capable of capturing and communicating novel ideas to varied audiences.
- Leadership within a fast-moving organization, a recognized entrepreneurial streak, and experience engaging audiences across multiple regions internationally.
