As a Companion Volunteer, you will significantly enhance the lives of individuals seeking companionship. We are in search of a compassionate individual to assist a person experiencing sight loss in engaging with the community. This could involve activities such as leisurely walks, dining out, or accompanying them to organized events like shopping or recreational activities. This role promises to be both fulfilling and enjoyable.You will undergo an introductory phase to establish a rapport with the individual we support, fostering trust and understanding. Our dedicated team in Maidstone is highly experienced and will provide guidance throughout this initial period.
Essential Qualities- A good sense of humor, excellent conversational skills, and active listening abilities
