Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead our support service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting independence and enabling people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide motivational leadership and direction to your team, ensuring they deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
  • Build positive relationships with stakeholders, including service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Implement our vision and values, ensuring an excellent service that meets the needs of our service users.
  • Manage and develop your team, providing training and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
  • Reliability and commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in care management, with a strong understanding of person-centred support principles.
  • QCF Level 3 qualification, with a willingness to work towards Level 5.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel across the region.
