About the Role

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Practitioner to join our East Lancashire Child and Adolescent Service (ELCAS) team. As a Graduate Mental Health Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, outcome-informed Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to children, young people, and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver CBT to children, young people, and their families under supervision.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services.
  • Complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy through the GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre.
Requirements
  • Professional Registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Ability to meet CYP Psychological Trainings Postgraduate Diploma course requirements.
  • At least two years of postgraduate experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
  • Ability to work autonomously with children, young people, and families.
