As a Graduate Mental Health Practitioner, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) while working with children, young people, and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, outcome-informed, focused CBT to children, young people, and their families under supervision.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive mental health services to children and young people.
- Complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy through the GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre.
- Professional Registration as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Ability to meet CYP Psychological Trainings Postgraduate Diploma course requirements.
- At least two years of postgraduate experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Ability to work autonomously with children, young people, and families.
Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. ELCAS, part of the Specialist Network, is a specialist provider of mental health services for Children, Young People, and their families and is rated Outstanding by the CQC.
