Job Title: Graduate Mental Health Practitioner

We are seeking enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with children to develop their skills and knowledge as part of future career progression and personal development.

About the Role

This exciting one-year fixed-term training post will see successful candidates working within ELCAS as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality, outcome-informed, focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to children, young people, and their families three days per week.

The remaining two days will be spent completing the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy through the GMMH Psychological Therapies Training Centre based at Prestwich, Manchester, in partnership with the University of Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality, outcome-informed, focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to children, young people, and their families
  • Complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team within ELCAS
  • Carry a small caseload of suitable training cases
Requirements
  • Enthusiastic individuals with a passion for working with children
  • Existing knowledge and experience of cognitive and/or behavioural therapy
  • At least 2 years clinical work with children and young people
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
