About the Role

ADM Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Trader to join our team. As a Farm Trader, you will be responsible for purchasing combinable crops and selling quality seed and fertilizer products to farmers.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Purchasing grain, oilseeds, and pulses from farmer customers
  • Negotiating contracts with farmers within the terms and price range given by ADM Traders
  • Selling seed and fertilizer products to existing and new accounts
  • Actively promoting campaigns in liaison with the Retail department
  • Providing outstanding customer service and following up on business enquiries
  • Utilizing company information and promoting technical services to farmers
  • Managing workload effectively to maximize account and business potential

Your Profile

We are looking for a candidate with an excellent understanding of combinable crops, OSR, pulses, and their uses/markets. You should also have knowledge of AIC and FOSFA grain contracts, seed varieties, and fertilizers. Arable farming experience and the ability to build relationships are essential. You should be comfortable in a dynamic, international environment and be open to change.
