Job Title: Locum Consultant Gynaecology

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Consultant Gynaecology to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior input to all Lymphoma, Gynaecological histopathology work to meet the needs of the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide senior input to all Lymphoma, Gynaecological histopathology work
  • Share the workload for Skin with other consultant histopathologists
  • Give input into relevant multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs)
  • Undertake specimen dissection
Requirements:
  • FRCPath (part 1 and 2)
  • Entry on the General Medical Council (GMC) specialist register
  • Appropriate experience across all disease groups in Histopathology, including Lymphoma, Gynaecological and Gastrointestinal oncology Pathology
Desirable:
  • An appropriate higher degree
  • Recent publications in peer-reviewed journals
  • Evidence of productive ethical research relevant to oncology

The appointee will have office accommodation and access to a secretarial service at The Christie. The successful candidate will be based at The Christie and will work closely with colleagues to provide senior input to all Lymphoma, Gynaecological histopathology work.
