Claims Leadership Position

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Claims Lead to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our goal to become a market-leading home claims handling function.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual and monthly objectives, providing coaching and development plans to support ongoing progression and ensuring annual performance reviews are conducted.
- Ensure payments are authorized in line with our departmental SLAs and oversee guidance and advice in respect of technical referrals.
- Conduct regular monthly audits on colleagues and engage and motivate the team, delivering effective meetings.
- Support the overall quality of claims handling internally and by outsourced partners.
Requirements
- Previous leadership experience, preferably in claims or home claims handling.
- Strong customer and colleague focus, excellent communication and coaching skills.
