Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and manage domestic property claims, ensuring all claims are handled fairly and with integrity.
- Liaise with customers to determine policy cover and legal liability, establishing loss value and associated costs.
- Handle and desktop settle a full range of incidents, maintaining high standards of communication with internal stakeholders.
- Produce reporting that demonstrates the effectiveness of our claims handling process.
- Participate in the policy wording and claim handling enhancement working group, contributing to the claims auditing process.
- Experience in investigating and handling domestic property claims.
- Excellent knowledge of current case law, settlement methods, building regulations, market pricing, and flood/escape of water/fire damage management best practice.
- Claims scoping and management software experience.
