Complex Fraud Investigator

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Complex Fraud Investigator to join our team at Hastings Direct. As a Complex Fraud Investigator, you will be responsible for investigating complex fraud claims, working with our Technical Fraud Team Leader to ensure that investigations are conducted to the highest possible standard, and developing and implementing strategies to advance our complex fraud capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate complex fraud claims, including fraud ring operations, high value and high profile cases
- Work with the Technical Fraud Team Leader to ensure that investigations are conducted to the highest possible standard
- Develop and implement strategies to advance our complex fraud capability using the latest tools and innovative methods
- Act as a referral point for other Claims Fraud Investigators and provide coaching, mentoring and training
- Proactively hunt for new threats against Hastings Direct and devise strategies to combat them
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve the best possible outcome for the customer and Hastings Direct
Requirements
- Previous experience investigating claims fraud (within motor claims)
- Good understanding of the CPR, MOJ, OIC and Pre-Action Protocol and experience dealing with litigated cases
- Keen eye for detail, with a curious and investigative mindset
