Role Summary

In light of our ongoing expansion, we are excited to announce a new opportunity for a seasoned Account Executive to join our dynamic and supportive Commercial team.

The selected Account Executive will oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts for existing clients while also focusing on cultivating and expanding a robust pipeline of new business across various lines of Commercial Insurance, all while adhering to FCA compliance standards.

The primary objective of this role is to deliver high-quality service tailored to client needs and requirements, while simultaneously driving revenue growth for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients through proactive account management
  • Instill confidence in clients regarding Astute's capabilities by showcasing expertise and service delivery
  • Identify and engage potential clients, converting leads into new business opportunities
  • Effectively communicate the firm's value proposition to clients
  • Generate referrals and facilitate introductions to other areas of the firm's services
  • Adhere to Astute's established processes and policies
  • Comply with FCA regulations as interpreted by the firm's compliance framework
  • Proactively develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients
  • Collect fees and premiums in line with the firm's procedures
  • Foster strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders, while effectively networking with clients and suppliers
  • Achieve designated sales targets

Candidate Profile

To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Executive
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products
  • Proven experience in maintaining high standards of FCA compliance
  • A track record of achieving targets and driving business growth
  • Proficient IT skills, including familiarity with insurance IT systems, preferably Acturis or OpenGI
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • High level of accuracy in work
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and insurers
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Willingness to pursue Cert CII or possess relevant qualifications
