Opportunity Summary
In light of our ongoing expansion, we are excited to announce a new opening for a seasoned Account Executive to join our dynamic and supportive team.
The selected Account Executive will oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts, focusing on nurturing existing client relationships while actively pursuing new business opportunities across various Commercial Insurance lines, all while adhering to regulatory compliance.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure that clients receive top-notch service tailored to their specific needs, while simultaneously contributing to the company's revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients through proactive management.
- Instill confidence in clients regarding Astute's capabilities by showcasing expertise and service delivery.
- Identify and engage potential clients, successfully converting leads into new business.
- Effectively communicate the firm's value proposition to clients.
- Generate referrals and facilitate introductions to other service areas within the firm.
- Adhere to established processes and policies of Astute.
- Comply with FCA regulations and guidelines as interpreted by the firm's compliance framework.
- Proactively develop and manage a pipeline of prospective clients.
- Ensure timely collection of fees and premiums in line with company procedures.
- Foster strong working relationships with team members and stakeholders, while effectively networking with clients and suppliers.
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Account Executive.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products.
- Proven track record of adhering to FCA compliance standards.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Proficient in using insurance IT systems, preferably Acturis or OpenGI.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service abilities, with a talent for building lasting relationships with clients and insurers.
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- A commitment to pursuing or holding the Cert CII qualification.
