Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at the University of Brighton Academies Trust. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, working closely with our teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support to teaching staff in the delivery of lessons and learning activities, ensuring that students receive the best possible education.
  • Assist with the planning, preparation, and implementation of teaching and learning activities, including the development of educational resources and materials.
  • Support the development of students' skills and knowledge, including literacy, numeracy, and other key areas of the curriculum.
  • Contribute to the creation of a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the well-being and engagement of all students.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching and learning strategies.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in a teaching or educational support role, with a strong understanding of the curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of the school.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
