About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team at Pink Tile Education Ltd. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of young people in an alternative provision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing lessons tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
  • Help create a safe and engaging classroom environment
  • Support students with special educational needs and behavioral challenges
  • Assist with classroom management and provide strong behavioral support
  • Prepare learning materials and resources
  • Supervise students during break times and school activities
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role with SEND/SEMH/behavior is highly desirable
  • A passion for working with young people and supporting their educational journey
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the school
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • A DBS check on the update service or willingness to obtain one
