Monday - Friday, 8AM - 4PM

Work Environment:
This role is fully on-site.


The facility specializes in the design and production of various cooling systems and associated components, such as radiators and charge air coolers. As one of the leading manufacturers of industrial radiators globally, the company produces over 35,000 units annually for clients in the power generation, off-highway, and construction sectors worldwide.

Reporting Structure:
Reports to the Aluminium Manufacturing Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production methodologies and protocols.
  • Drive productivity enhancements through project-based initiatives, including new product launches and manufacturing cell optimization to minimize waste.
  • Enhance quality and safety standards while reducing operational costs.
  • Oversee KPIs and ensure proactive measures are taken to maximize performance.
  • Design necessary fixtures and tooling to achieve consistent production processes.
  • Assist in shop floor layout and cell design, and create production documentation such as PFMEA, CP, and process instructions (SWES).
  • Introduce and oversee Statistical Process Control (SPC) at critical stages of the production process.
  • Ensure that product and process quality adheres to required specifications.

Essential Background and Experience:
  • Proven experience with aluminium brazing techniques (CAB and Vacuum) and familiarity with materials, including metal and fluxes (5+ years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in applying lean tools and techniques, along with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively present data.
  • Knowledge of business metrics management (OEE, COPQ, DLE, TAKT, Cycle Times, etc.).
  • Strong team collaboration skills.

Desirable Background and Experience:
  • Experience in metallurgy or related fields.
  • Familiarity with capital expenditure processes.
  • Six Sigma training.
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities.

Qualifications/Education:
  • Preferred degree in manufacturing or engineering, or equivalent qualifications such as A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds Level 3, BTEC National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma, or NVQ Level 3.
  • Experience with FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), Kaizen/A3 (continuous improvement and problem-solving) techniques, and Poka Yoke (error-proofing) methods.
  • Understanding of design and production costs, including waste, downtime, scrap, and rework.
