Overview:

Our client, a distinguished investment bank with a global footprint, is launching initiatives to broaden its trading products and functionalities across international markets, particularly focusing on the US and APAC regions. In line with these efforts, they are in search of an ION Subject Matter Expert to play a crucial role in enhancing their risk management capabilities and optimizing trading platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead initiatives to expand the portfolio by enhancing government bond trading capabilities. Ensure adherence to EMIR regulations through necessary updates to trading platforms and infrastructure. Revamp the legacy trading platform to incorporate additional functionalities and improve user experience. Simplify integration processes and enhance platform performance. Integrate credit products with existing rates infrastructure in accordance with Bloomberg standards. Introduce new index derivatives trading flows, utilizing expertise in derivatives market dynamics.

Qualifications:

Proven expertise with ION core components, including MarketView, is essential. ION MMI knowledge at an SME level (minimum 5 years). ION core platform, AQ, NegLib, etc., knowledge at an SME level (minimum 5 years). Extensive experience in platform optimization and trading flow management. Strong understanding of Rates and Credit Bonds and derivatives products. Solid proficiency in Unix and SQL. Experience working in agile teams. Strong practical application knowledge with a focus on market standards. An architectural background is advantageous.
