Lead Business Solutions Consultant

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver industry-specific and functional insights during the discovery workshops, design phases, implementation, testing, and ongoing support of the Product solution tailored to client needs. Showcase the Product solution to client stakeholders effectively. Collaborate with Technical Consultants to ensure deliverables meet business and functional requirements, including reviewing and validating scripted solutions as directed by the Product Manager. Consult with client representatives to identify business requirements and operational workflows that the Product solution can address. Exhibit extensive knowledge in various aspects of Product configuration and specific energy commodities. Provide mentorship to Business Consultants in relevant functional areas of the Product solution. Assist in implementing professional services best practices as guided by the Line Manager. Take on hands-on responsibilities throughout all phases of the Product implementation, reporting directly to the Project Manager. Collect and document business requirements, configuration designs, test plans/results, and other necessary project deliverables as outlined by the Project Manager and Lead Business Consultant. Keep the Line Manager and Project Manager(s) updated on the progress of assigned tasks. Follow best practices for implementation across functional areas of the ION solution, ensuring high-quality design, specifications, custom coding, unit testing, and other deliverables. Adhere to ION documentation standards and resolution processes for all project deliverables. Maintain full chargeability on assigned client accounts.Required Skills and Qualifications:
Preferred experience in implementing the Aspect application, though relevant ETRM experience will be considered. Proficiency in one or more of the following areas: Front Office/Risk Expertise: Strong understanding of Trading and Risk principles, including experience with both physical and financial instruments. Implementation experience should encompass developing book structures, configuring pricing models, setting risk limits, and position reporting. Accounting/Back Office Expertise: Implementation experience with invoicing, settlements, contracts, cash flow reporting, and interfacing with ERP systems for accounts receivable and payable. Scheduling Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of scheduling concepts within ETRM systems, including implementation experience with transportation, storage, processing, inventory management, and tariff management. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Natural Gas, Crude Oil, Refined Products, Biofuels, LNG, Metals, Carbon, Coal, and Agricultural Products. A minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting Product installations in client environments. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field, or equivalent experience. Ability to work collaboratively within a project team structure. Willingness to work onsite at client locations as required.
