We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Solutions Consultant to join our team at ION. As a key member of our implementation team, you will be responsible for delivering successful projects and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement projects with a focus on customer satisfaction and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices and mentor junior team members.
  • Support Project Managers on engagements and assist with SOW creation, project planning, and other functional responsibilities.
  • Lead Business Consultants on implementation projects, focusing on one or more functional areas.
  • Maintain full chargeability on one or more client accounts simultaneously.
  • Author Best Practice Documents in functional areas.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities for additional consulting work at client sites.
  • Provide information to Managers, Professional Services Directors, and Account Managers as needed.
  • Provide industry and functional expertise and leadership in the discovery workshop, designing, configuring, testing, and production support of the Product solution for client business needs.
  • Serve as the client's principal point of contact for consultation and expert advice.
  • Communicate closely with Project Managers regarding client questions and issues related to the Product solution and configuration.
  • Perform as the Lead Business Consultant in the workshop/requirements and design phase of the project.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model for Business Consultants in one or more functional areas of the Product solution.
  • Work with Managers to enhance, publish, and train staff on implementation best practices in specific functional areas of the Product solution.
  • Present the Product solution to client executive and user-level audiences.
  • Support Project Managers in obtaining client signoff of deliverables and milestones.
  • Assume hands-on project implementation duties in all phases of the Product implementation, reporting to the Project Manager.
  • Provide sales/presales support through estimation, document authoring for RFP/RFI responses, sales proposals, and hands-on demonstrations in specific functional areas to meet client business requirements.
  • Support Technical Consultants by providing business and functional guidance, review, testing, and validation of scripted solutions (reports, plugins, and interfaces).
  • Consult with ION Product Management to exchange information on the latest developments in the industry to improve the ION Products.
  • Assist with services best practices.
Requirements
  • Experience with Openlink Endur product implementations in the role profile.
  • 5-10 years' experience in the ETRM industry, systems implementation, or similar project exposure, preferably in a consulting or similar role.
  • Require Middle Office/Risk subject matter expertise and 5+ years specifically Endur Middle Office implementation experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related IT field or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work as part of a project team structure.
  • Ability to work onsite at client locations.
  • 8 to 10 years direct experience in designing, configuring, and troubleshooting installations in client environments.
  • 8 to 10 years Industry/systems experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in more than one area of Product configuration and in one or more industry Product sets.
  • Strong client-facing skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
