Role Title:

Project Manager / Business Analyst

*This position is a fixed-term contract for three months*

Salary:

£60,000 - £66,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Main Purpose of the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our dynamic IT and operations team. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the primary focus will be on facilitating the delivery and implementation of a new technological solution for our Lettings division, alongside other significant business initiatives. This role involves addressing point-of-sale requirements, property management needs, and back-office client accounting.

You will proactively engage with both internal and external stakeholders to gather, communicate, and validate requirements, ensuring the most suitable solutions are identified, taking into account existing practices, business processes, and industry trends to deliver genuine business value. Activities/Main Duties:

  • Develop, enhance, and manage schedules and project plans across diverse teams and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance on timelines and dependencies necessary for implementation, including detailed breakdowns.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, establishing governance frameworks for the organization.
  • Collect and manage requirements while conducting thorough business and systems process analysis to fully comprehend needs.
  • Encourage collaboration within the project team to ensure the implications of any solution are thoroughly evaluated and addressed.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders from business, technical teams, and third parties to ensure proposed solutions are clearly understood and approved.
  • Contribute analytical insights to support project challenges, ensuring all issues are tracked and reported promptly.
  • Engage in project planning, team meetings, reviews, release planning, demonstrations, and other necessary gatherings.
  • Deliver quality outputs to specifications, on schedule, and within budget.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance project processes and outcomes, pinpointing areas for improvement and collaborating with operational teams to implement necessary changes.

  • Excellent communication skills; capable of explaining complex business issues to a diverse audience and demonstrating experience in drafting requirements specifications.
  • The ability to evaluate project tasks and risks and delegate work to team members.
  • Manage project timelines and schedules, ensuring quality checks and monitoring progress against established timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of five years' experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis with references.
  • Experience or knowledge of the letting property process and/or Financial Services mortgage lending would be advantageous.
  • A solid understanding of analysis and design techniques with experience in business process identification, modeling, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with project management software for planning and monitoring tasks would be beneficial.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
