IT Support Specialist

Focus Group is seeking an experienced IT Technical Support Engineer to join our team. As an onsite IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support to our clients, ensuring excellent customer service and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and resolve support tickets, escalating issues to other teams as necessary
- Provide desk-side, telephone, and remote support to end-users
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including hardware and software problems
- Update line managers on outstanding faults and SLA breaches
- Contribute to the company's quality system and processes
- Support the deployment of projects and undertake daily checks for assigned clients
- Previous experience in an IT Support role
- Experience with Windows Desktop (7, 8, 10, 11) and troubleshooting Outlook
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Group Policy, DNS, Network domains, backup solutions, virtualization, firewalls, and routers
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
- Organized and able to work autonomously or as part of a team
- Experience with Mac OS X, Linux, and Android
- Veeam
- ESXI and Hyper-V
- Experience with HP Aruba switches, APs, and Sonicwall firewalls
- Experience with ClearPass
- Data, Broadband, Ethernet
- SQL, VOIP, SANS
- Strong Networking knowledge
