About Us:
We are collaborating with a prominent organization in the Legal Sector seeking a detail-oriented and seasoned Cybersecurity Compliance Lead to oversee and uphold essential certifications, contributing to the ongoing success of a multimillion-pound enterprise.

Role Overview:
In the capacity of Cybersecurity Compliance Lead, you will be instrumental in sustaining and advancing our certifications for ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials+, and NIST. Your proficiency will guarantee our adherence to industry regulations and standards, bolstering our continuous initiatives in Data Protection and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ISO Standards Oversight: Manage and uphold certifications for ISO 27001, ensuring that all processes and systems align with the most current standards.
  • Compliance Initiatives: Spearhead and engage in compliance initiatives related to Data Protection and CSR, promoting projects that resonate with our ethical and sustainability objectives.
  • Audits and Evaluations: Execute regular internal audits, evaluations, and reviews to confirm compliance with regulatory mandates and organizational policies.
  • Policy Formulation: Design, implement, and oversee policies and procedures to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
  • Training and Awareness: Deliver training and support to personnel on compliance issues, fostering a culture of ongoing improvement and awareness.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate compliance risks throughout the organization.
  • Reporting: Compile and present compliance reports to senior management, emphasizing key insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in IT compliance management, focusing on ISO standards and information security.
  • Certification: Relevant certifications in ISO standards (e.g., ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor) are highly preferred.
  • Skills: In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, alongside experience in GDPR and CSR-related compliance initiatives.
  • Industry Experience: Experience within the financial sector is highly advantageous.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capability to effectively convey complex information to varied audiences.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self-Driven: Capacity to work autonomously in a remote environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
  • Collaborative: Team-oriented approach with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
