Soft Facilities Management Contract Manager

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to join our Facilities Management team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring complex contracts, ensuring they meet customer requirements and business needs.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of collaborative contract management, with experience of managing multiple contracts simultaneously. You will be a subject matter expert, leading the Soft Facilities Management and Dual Use contract management, and will be responsible for negotiating, managing, and monitoring a range of complex and medium- to high-value contracts.
You will work closely with various stakeholders, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong relationships with all County Council directorates. Additionally, you will line manage, mentor, motivate, and support the growth and development of our Caretaking and Premises team and Grounds Maintenance Contract team.
About YouWe are looking for a proactive leader with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong working relationships. You will have a working knowledge of educational settings and structure, and the ability to influence and engage school professionals.
The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and knowledge of Facilities Management, with experience of managing teams from different disciplines with excellent interpersonal skills.
