We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our Facilities Management team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and monitoring a range of complex and medium- to high-value contracts effectively to meet customer requirements and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate, manage, and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of contract management, from negotiation to management.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure strong relationships and effective communication.
- Line manage, mentor, motivate, and support the growth and development of our Caretaking and Premises team and Grounds Maintenance Contract team.
We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are a must, as you will be the go-to person for resolving any issues that may arise.
You will have a working knowledge of educational settings and structure and the ability to influence and engage school professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills and knowledge of Facilities Management, as well as experience of managing teams from different disciplines with excellent interpersonal skills.
