Soft Facilities Management Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our Facilities Management team at West Sussex County Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and delivering high-profile contracts to support the delivery of vital services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate, manage, and monitor complex and medium- to high-value contracts to meet customer requirements and business needs.
- Lead the Soft Facilities Management and Dual Use contract management, overseeing project teams and maintaining strong relationships with all County Council directorates.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining strong relationships.
- Line manage, mentor, motivate, and support the growth and development of our Caretaking and Premises team and Grounds Maintenance Contract team.
- Proven track record of collaborative contract management delivering a variety of services.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities, with excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build strong working relationships.
- Working knowledge of educational settings and structure, with the ability to influence and engage school professionals.
- Strong project management skills and knowledge of Facilities Management, with experience of managing teams from different disciplines.
