Next Sourcing is a global team dedicated to finding, developing, and delivering the products our customers love. We work in some of the most iconic cities around the world, collaborating with suppliers and designers to bring you the latest trends and styles.
Your RoleWe are looking for a dynamic Brand Partnerships Manager to cultivate relationships with our Licensed & Direct Brands clients, Next Sourcing UK teams, and overseas Next Sourcing teams. You will play a key role in developing strategic plans ahead of each season, ensuring we deliver the best possible offers to our Branded clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying key opportunities within each brand and developing comprehensive product offers that emphasize strong product development, competitive pricing, and rapid response times.
- Monitoring Next Sourcing's sales performance, providing guidance, motivation, and support to our teams to enhance results. This involves tracking and analyzing sales targets, identifying areas for improvement, and reporting findings to senior management.
- Constantly seeking out new product opportunities and areas for growth, presenting these ideas to brands and working towards converting them into orders to drive new sales opportunities for the company.
- Managing the entire product development process from concept and sourcing through to ready-to-buy products.
- Overseeing the Next Sourcing critical path in alignment with each brand's timeline, ensuring that products are designed and delivered on schedule for key events like range reviews and selections.
- Confidently selling product offers to brands, using your influence to evolve each brand's range and drive company sales.
- Assisting with price, delivery, and small quantity order negotiations, ensuring that we offer competitive prices, timely deliveries, and excellent service to the Licensed & Direct brands' buying & merchandising teams.
- Acting as a vital link between each brand and the Next Sourcing teams, troubleshooting as needed to ensure that Next Sourcing remains the preferred partner for our clients.
You possess knowledge and experience in managing branded products and nurturing relationships in a similar role. You have exceptional commercial awareness, a deep understanding of trends, and expertise in product development and manufacturing. The ability to work effectively within a team while being personable and engaging across the business is essential.
You are skilled in presenting new concepts to encourage sales opportunities and confidently sell product offers to key stakeholders within each brand. A proactive approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the drive to see tasks through to completion are crucial. Experience in Buying, Merchandising, Brand Sourcing, or from a supplier background is highly desirable.
