About the Role
Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Acute team as a Band 6 Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and skilled professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a clinical caseload and lead the assessment, treatment, and discharge planning process for patients.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans that promote patient independence and well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address service development opportunities.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
Requirements
- Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy and current State registration with HCPC.
- Relevant postgraduate training and experience in acute settings.
- Excellent clinical skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
